Soha Ali Khan was born to Nawab of Pataudi and former Indian Cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan and ex-Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore. She has a brother in Saif Ali Khan, who is also a famous Bollywood actor. Soha Ali Khan has studied at The British School in New Delhi.
